GENTAMOX
Division: Injection
Composition
Each 1 ml. contains:
- Amoxicillin trihydrate - 150 mg
- Gentamycin base - 40 mg
INDICATIONS
- Gastrointestinal, respiratory and intramammary infections caused by bacteria sensitive to the combination of amoxicillin and Gentamycin such as pneumonia, diarrhea. bacterial enteritis, mastitis. metritis. and cutaneous abscesses.Acts synergistically against a wide range of infections caused by both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
DOSAGE
For intramuscular administration
Sheep and Goats: 5-10 ml/adult animal/day; and 1-5 ml/young animal/day.
Cattle: 30-40 ml/adult animal day; and 10-15 ml/calf/day. Horses: 30-50 ml/adult animal/day, and 5-15 ml/foal/day. Generally, administer 1 ml/10 kg b.w./day, for 3 days.
Shake well before use.
